I have collected watches since my first one in 1970. I have about 100.
I am very familiar with the seiko 6217 62mas that this watch is made to look like ... my parents gave me that watch in 1970 when i got certified to dive at 13. I wore that watch for more than 33 years.
Unlike the original, this watch has a sapphire crystal, ceramic lumed bezel, screw down crown, wr to 200m, and a much better seiko movement that hacks and can be hand wound.
The 120 click bezel turns very smoothly with a precision feel and the crown snaps quite precisely thru the various positions. It performs very well on my time grapher. Very few watches perform at -3 sec/day.
Over all, the fit, finish and general feel of quality is very impressive, easily comparable to watches that i have that cost 10-15 times as much.
The bracelet is very nice, but i put a rubber strap on it with a deployment clasp because my original came with a rubber strap and they always seem to fit me better.
